F.R.A.U.D. Receives 14th Consecutive "Needs Improvement" Rating from Charity Navigator — We're Investigating

For the 14th consecutive quarter, Charity Navigator has rated the Foundation for Responsible Allocation of Undirected Disbursements as "Needs Improvement." In response, F.R.A.U.D. has opened a formal investigation into Charity Navigator's rating methodology, practices, and personal finances of its board members. "We take all allegations seriously," said Dr. Grantley, "especially the ones directed at us."

After a rigorous three-hour internal review, F.R.A.U.D.'s Internal Audit Committee (chaired by Dr. Grantley) has concluded that F.R.A.U.D. is in full compliance with all internal policies — which are also written by Dr. Grantley. "We looked at everything," said the committee's report, which was two paragraphs long. "Everything checks out."

A groundbreaking new study commissioned by F.R.A.U.D. (and conducted by F.R.A.U.D.) reveals that 97% of nonprofit fraud goes completely undetected. "This is exactly why organizations like ours need more funding," said Director of Grant Utilization Analytics Marcus Burnrate. When asked why F.R.A.U.D.'s own detection rate was 0%, Burnrate clarified that "the fraud we're looking for is very well hidden" and requested an additional $12 million for enhanced detection capabilities.
